Despite the best efforts of a few insurgents and a short-sighted American media hellbent on a controversy, we are winning the War on Terror. While we hear reports of setbacks on the battlefield, we are winning the hearts and minds of the people in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are giving them their first taste of the fruits of freedom. In time and after many growing pains, they will become thriving and mature democracies that will thank America for their liberation.
