Jim, great post. The market has yet to grasp the concept of ARM dominating the post-PC uP market. I think it is because they are so far down in the value chain. For example, here is one particular value chain in North America:

Verizon Wireless
-> Samsung Phone
-> Qualcomm Baseband Chip
-> ARM uP Core

Being #4 on this list means they will get rewarded last. That is OK, patience pays off, time and time again.

Also, the fact they are based in the UK causes an automatic discount on their valuation. They should consider moving their headquarters to the US to help "unlock" their market cap.

$8 Billion Market Cap for ARMHY is GROSSLY undervaluing their future earnings potential. I believe they should be valued around $20 Billion given the growth in handheld devices expected for this new decade.
