"Do you know, is Rogers cable plant 2 way capable yet?"

I know they have the Athome package available but the e-mail and surfing through the explorer is just around the corner. Hope that answers your question. (being technically challenged I don't have a yes or no answer<g>)
AT and Tand T just picked up 35% of their Cantel division and I believe Microsoft just got involved in their cable division. They have lagged a bit behind due to debt problems but are catching up quickly.
They haven't been too popular here in Canada although they are (I believe) the largest carrier in the country.
As the CRTC regulates all of our cable and radio stations they pretty much have the monopoly.
Once deregulation hits here Rogers will be in trouble as they haven't made any friends here in the last couple of years.
One of the things they did was add new stations to everyone's package and you had to call them to cancel the extra service otherwise you had to pay for it. The government got involved (due to outrage) and made them reverse the charges and cancel the "negative option billing practices".
