Are those your opinions??? I would agree that the Vietnam War probably produced more medal winners/combat vet than any other war in history. Mostly because that war was a morale downer and medals were being used to boost morale

Do you know that one of Kerry's severest Swift Boat critics himself got a Bronze Star for the exact same action that Kerry did....noone seems to mention that including the hero....

Why do you say that reg was obscure??? Wouldn't you think that anyone who is wounded 3x might be pushing his luck and deserves a trip to the rear????

And btw, Kerry served 4 years in the Navy including a year at sea in the Pacific (including Nam) and 5 months in combat. Wasn't it SOP for GI's in their one year tour to serve 6 months in combat and 6 months in the rear?????
