Few people get flat out rejected for just being obese or having high cholesterol, for example. More likely is that they start off with a higher premium or deductable.

The real question is why that government-issued report exaggerates to push an agenda. I want our public services to be objective in delivering the facts.

Twisting the truth, even "for our own good," destroys the public trust. Might as well just live in China.
