Delay is finished because the GOP can't afford to keep him around with all their other problems in ethical areas. But Delay still knows where all the bodies are buried and has a lot of IOU's based on corporate money donations. He will only go kicking and screaming, but he will go.

Also, Texas has changed. Bush now has a 53% disapproval rating inhis home state. Delay's rating is probably a lot worse. DElay's base support has eroded greatly.
