NEW YORK, May 2 (Reuters) - Shares of business management
software company Novell Inc. <NOVL.O> dropped in after-hours
trading on Tuesday in choppy action after warning investors of
significantly lower second quarter earnings and revenues.
The stock traded at 13 after the bell on Instinet, traders
said, compared with a closing price of 17-9/16 on Nasdaq.
Novell shares traded in a wide price band ranging from 12-1/2
to 17-9/16.
Global Crossing <GBLX.O> inched up to 32-3/4 on Instinet
versus a closing price of 32-5/8 on Nasdaq after the
long-distance telephone company reported its first-quarter
loss.
