Al Qaida is the war on terror, not Saddam. That was the big lie of Bush, that it was Saddam who was behind 9-11 and was the #1 threat. Saddam did give some help to Palestianian gruops and has done heinous things but he was an enemy of Al Qaida. Remember those mass graves are filled with Shiite Islamic fundamentalists, Al Qaida's people. They hate Saddam.

Now in Iraq we may end up with a Islamic fundamantalist government. If we give them democracy as Bush promised that is what we will get. That is exactly what we don't want. That might be worse than Saddam. Bush has also made Iran more dangerous trying to pick a fight I guess so the oil company neocons will have a reason to invade and create an even bigger quagmire.
