To David and Christians--Here is a letter that my wife received today. As I said before, my wife was a Jew before becoming a Christians. She works in several minitries. This precious young Jewish woman is a relatively new Christian seeking to grow in the Lord. I am quoting this letter for the armchair Christians who have never experienced whats going on in the field. Of particular interest is the cultic nature of some of the so called "messianic" Jews. From the time of the Jewish Apostles all converts, including Jews, were simply called Christians. Notice the confusion they are producing in this new Christians. She is being encouraged to keep one foot in the Talmudic Synagogue and one foot in Christ. This will never work. The Church is the Body of Christ. The Church is the only worshippers of God the Father and God the Son. This young Christian needs to be established in the Word of God--both the Old Testament and the New Testament. All of our theoretical discussions about the Synagogue of Satan and Talmudic Judaism boils down to this practical problem. To handle this new child of God with tender loving care as she establishes her foudation in the Gospels, in the Lord Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. What she does not need is the pride of the flesh and the satanic teaching of the "Synagogue of Satan." It is not only her soul but the soul of her children. ------------------------------------
Hi Bette- Yes- I am interested in learning more - I was raised Jewish, though Reform, and we did not live in a Jewish neighborhood or attend Synagouge after, say, 1972 - My cousins attended a Jewish High School (in NY) and sometimes celebrated the holidays with us in Denver (we live in Denver) - My husband is christian, has been for 9 yrs or so - we attended a couple of churches but nothing steady - in the last several yrs, I had felt something missing, I had returned to Synagouge with my son before I met my current husband, we attended 6 months or so...but I still felt a void... My husband and I married in '92 - in '95-'96 we moved to Maryland (big mistake), and then separated - I moved back to Denver with the Kids, and on my own I was led to the Chuch we currently attend- My husband and I reunited in September of '96- Whew- hows that for story in a nutshell? Meanwhile, I have been treated VERY rudely by other "jews" since converted - some Messianic Jews said I should not have been baptised - that I should go to the nearest Messianic Synagouge immediately instead of attending church (controlling???)- Have u had this happen? Gotta to go - thanks |
