BAE Systems Advanced Systems announced the sale of its complete line of commercial telecommunications antennas to Antenna Products, Inc. The Antenna Products acquisition of this unit represents the entire analog cellular, digital cellular, and intelligent antenna product base of BAE SYSTEMS Advanced Systems that produced revenues of $1.2 million in 1999. The deal was for a combination of cash, Antenna Products stock, and royalties on future sales of Intelligent Antenna Systems or IAS.

Antenna Products, Inc. announced that Antenna Products Corporation in Mineral Wells, Texas, a wholly owned subsidiary, was recently awarded a $220,000 contract from ITT Industries for production of a new mobile UHF antenna used with their Mercury Near Term Digital Radio (NTDR) for fast, secure and multimedia communications.

Antenna Products Corporation announced that it was awarded a follow-on contract with Raytheon Electronics Systems Division to produce hardware for 89 systems in the Army Smart T program. The value of the contract is $900,000 with deliveries starting in mid 2000. Raytheon has options for an additional 106 systems in 2001 and 138 systems in 2002.
