It was 8%, now 9.2% global. The point is they are closing in fast and are almost neck and neck with Compaq domestically. If Compaq doesn't soon get its act together, they may soon find themselves reduced to 8% against their will. All of the IDC and Dataquest evidence out this weekend points to the fact that Compaq is slipping while Dell gains. Unless MD commits some fatal error, however unlikely, this trend will not stop.
