TAXES question to anyone. Basically, I just started trading this year (using Suretrade). When taxes come up next year, if I have sold, say 20 stocks, do I have to itemize each of those on the tax form, or do I combine them and indicate on the form (oh yeah, and what form is used for these), bought 20 stocks for a total of $10K and sold those 20 for a total of $11K so I gotta pay taxes on $1K? I know its a simple question, but I'm having a debate over it and wanted to find out how easy/hard it is. Should I be getting an accountant?
