$500,000 Maximizer order from Siemens

Multiactive Software Beats Enterprise CRM Competitors to $500,000 Siemens Order

Siemens' Automation and Drives Group to Use Maximizer Enterprise(TM)
To Improve Sales Process

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 29 /CNW/ -- Multiactive Software
Inc. (CDN: MSWI) announced that it has been awarded a $500,000 order from
Siemens' Automation and Drives Group. Multiactive will outfit the Siemens
groups' sales force in the Asia Pacific region with 500 seats of Maximizer
Enterprise 5.0, Multiactive's leading sales and customer management solution.
Siemens chose Multiactive over several other well-known software providers,
including Siebel, Saratoga, Pivotal and Exact.

Maximizer Enterprise is replacing a range of systems within Siemens'
Automation and Drives Group, including paper-based systems and a range of
systems based on Access, Excel, and a system developed in-house. Multiactive
is supporting the sale with additional product development, including a new
application that will enable the regional Siemens organizations in
Asia-Pacific to support the budgeting requirements and report business figures
from each customer month by month.

"Our choice of Maximizer Enterprise was made on its features and cost,"
said Peter Feichtinger, from Siemens Automation & Drives Business Development,
Asia-Pacific. "We felt the software's performance was suiting our purpose as
well as many larger, enterprise-oriented alternatives, but its cost was
obviously significantly more attractive.

"Ease of use was also an important factor, as was ease of installation.
The sales force within the Automation and Drives Group are experts at selling
industrial products and systems. The sales professionals do not need to be
computer software experts. What they need is an efficient tool which helps to
organize their efforts. Maximizer Enterprise is the solution of choice for
Siemens' Automation and Drives Group in the Asia-Pacific region."

Another major factor in Siemens' decision was the speed of the rollout
across Asia-Pacific. The Maximizer Enterprise installation will encompass
14 countries in the Asia-Pacific region -- from Australia to Korea, and from
India to Hong Kong. The installation will be completed by the end of this
year, with Singapore and Australia being the first countries to go live.

"Siemens has chosen the best software solution available," says Brent
Halverson, President, Multiactive Software. "This deal is proof that large,
multinational companies do not have to spend millions to have a robust and
feature rich solution that can quickly benefit their entire enterprise.
Organizations now know that a system's complexity and higher price do not
equal a positive return on investment."

Siemens' Automation and Drives Group has a product list totaling more than
30,000 items, ranging from terminals at a few cents each, to drives and low
voltage switch gear, as well as industrial automation systems, up to standard
motors and even high voltage motors valued at over $1 million.

The range of customers is almost as diverse, running to "many hundreds in
each country," according to Feichtinger.

"With this variety of products and customers, what was required was a
systematic approach to our sales and customer relations efforts. Our customers
are at different levels: original equipment manufacturers, value-added
resellers, and end-users. We need to track each level, because end-user needs
trigger demand back through the supply chain to Siemens.

"We also wanted to capture sales knowledge within the company, not the
individual. When a salesman leaves Siemens, we don't want his detailed
customer knowledge to leave the company inside his personal notebook. With
Maximizer Enterprise, Siemens protects its information assets."

Craig Watts, Managing Director of Multiactive Software Asia-Pacific,
commented: "With Multiactive's commitment to developing e-business, sales,
and customer management solutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Siemens'
Automation and Drives Group has made an excellent business decision to improve
its sales systematic and implement Maximizer Enterprise improve its sales
systematic by implementing Maximizer Enterprise."
