“LUKOIL” is part of corporation “LUKOIL”, which operates in 25 countries throughout the world and is one of the largest oil companies in the world according to oil stores and its output volume. The company works according to the principle “from the oil well to petrol station”, ensuring oil output, refinement, oil product wholesale and retail. “LUKOIL” has been operating in Latvia since June 21, 1993, and has gained a stable place among the leading companies of Latvia.
“LUKOIL” is one of the biggest taxpayers in the country. In 2001 the company paid as much as 8 million LVL in taxes to the state budget of Latvia. Most of the profit is reinvested in Latvia, facilitating growth of the company. The company is continuously increasing the number of fuel filling stations, which now has reached almost thirty in Latvia. The company expanding, two legal structures have been founded - “LUKOIL - BALTIJA R” LTD, which deals mainly with fuel wholesale, and “LUKOIL SERVISS” LTD, which handles fuel retail, works on development and expansion of Fuel filling stations and Gas filling stations, as well as trades oil products which are popular in the world (lubricants etc.).
At the moment the company owns 26 fuel and 14 gas filling stations, as well as two oil depots - in Tukums and Olaine (one of the biggest in the Baltic region). “LUKOIL” in Ventspils has been the leader in oil transfer volume for many years.
Regular customers include about 1000 legal entities, the largest transport companies, structures of the Ministry of the Interior, local authorities and other organizations among them.
Expanding retail network and increasing sales in market, offering the client high quality products at reasonable prices, lie at the basis of the company strategy.
