One of the benefits of the extensive testing done by Daimler for its "Magic Sky Control", as outlined in this article Mercedes Benz "Magic Sky Control" was that it has led to the development of entirely new, never-seen-before products like the recent unveiling of and SPD-Smart Visor. Because the SPD particle is made into a thin flexible film that can be applied not only to glass surfaces but to composites, innovative products for transportation vehicles like the visor recently unveiled by Vision Systems, a licensee located in France. This visor was recently debuted and described in the joint press release below.
