Sence you ask, I'll tell you about myself. In 1965 I was in a bgaining partnership with 4 other (then YOUNG) barbers. We were the FIRST to begain HAIRSTYLING in Memphis, Tenn. We opened a very elaborate shop called "The Kings Den". We hired a receptiomist, two shampoo girls, two manicurist and six other barber/stylist. The Kengs Den was very successful. In 1970, at the age of 25, I could not stand the big city no longer. I'm a hunter and fisherman, love the outdoors and just refused to live my life that cooped up in a city where when you even speack to someone they look at you like " whats with you fellow". So I tested the waters in my little home town of Ripley, MS. population 2,500 then. Opened My own barber/style shop called it Razor's Edge. My fame as a hairstylist spread to a 60 mile radius around. I have been blessed in that business which I still run, but I only open up at 11:00am and close at 5:00pm for the last 4 years, sence I've been trading in the market daily for that length of time. I still style hair at $10.00 a cut. I will pat myself on the back at little, I am really talented at cutting & styling hair and will continue, God willing, untill I know I will never need the income or I'm forced to stop. I want to rcover what I lost last year and double what I now have, if that happens, I'll sell my building or rent it and give my cute little name Razor's Edge to another and only TRADE STOCKS. NOW YOU & THE SHADOW KNOWS. I don't know why CHCA isn't moving, it's never did much, thus the reason I said what I did about the difference between CHCA and MSN, still feeel that way even though this buy out is a new twist. |
