You were asking about some of the picks I made with this system. I posted 20 picks on Fidonet in Sep. and Oct. I can't find the list now... I've been so involved with research for short term (3 to 5 day) trades it seems like ages ago. I remembere a few of them... OMKT was the best... it went up 84% after it met these conditions and I recommended it. CYRX was one... I remembered it because a few folks had commented that they though it would go down.. but it went up about 15% in a few days. BOCI was another... I invested in it but lost some money because it went up... and then back down pretty fast the same day.... I got in on the way down unfortunately, CAMP was the only pick out of the 20 that didn't go up. It was stopped out at 10% loss. I made a pretty healthy profit on OLGC... I had a BIG profit on it an let about 1/3 the profit get away from me. I'm not that good at the trading part yet. DIMD was another... I made 8% on it. MEDA and MTSN were on the list.

I've received some email with questions about this system and I realize that it's not so easy to work such a system without utilities that scanning the entire market and performing the calculations for you automatically. So to make it simple, I would recommend these steps:

Look at the top percentage gainers for the day... available at several internet sites. Go down the list to you get to those that are near the bottom... that didn't gain over 15% that day. List the ones that fit the price parameters and volume parameters. Look them up on a chart and see if their current price.. at the CLOSE of that day's market is equal to or lower than its price one month earlier. According to the averages you should be able to locate a stock that qualifies ever couple days. I would also recommend you watch it the next day and when/if the spread isn't over 5% and the price moves up enough the bid passes the opening ask price then... JUMP IN! ...and go for a ride. Historical records over the past two years show an average potential exit point within 3 weeks that is 10% higher. HOWEVER, you can improve that average because the historical research I was able to do did NOT allow me to decide if the stock was moving up the next day or not... and it did not "weed out" stocks with a large bid - ask spread... and it only checked prices about every 3 days, and never any interday highs... so I'm SURE there would have been an opportunit to exit all those positions at least 2 or 3 % higher.
The research also averaged in stocks that were still in the dangerous IPO class... less than 6 months on the market. Be careful if you play IPO's before they are totally settled! They are about the only stocks you'll run into, using this method, that may change 100% too quickly for you to get out and save your ASSetts!
