Today, I saw pegfuls of knockoff virtual pets mounted on watchbands,
as an added twist. The same discount store has been sold out of
Tamagotchi, Nano Pals, and Giga Pets for over a week. Come
September, the teachers of the Northern Hemisphere are going to
have their hands full when they are forced to confiscate all these
beeping virtual pets demanding to be fed and cared for!
