(OTCBB:TSIG), known as TSIG.com, today announced that GeneralSearch.Com Inc., a privately-held company which owns a leading Internet search and portal site, has completed a $6.5 million private placement. Terms were not disclosed.
The GeneralSearch.Com portal contains one of the most powerful and accurate search engines on the Internet today, with access to a database of more than 100 million links. On June 7, TSIG.com announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire GeneralSearch.Com Inc., combining TSIG.com's broad marketing strengths with the leading-edge technology strengths of GeneralSearch.Com Inc. Together, the two companies intend to register millions of Internet users at the lowest customer acquisition cost in the industry.
In other news, GeneralSearch.Com officially launched its Zip code/Area code Finder. This site is located at www2.generalsearch.com and contains over 103,000 records. The GeneralSearch.Com Zip code/Area code Finder is known as one of the largest and most comprehensive on the Internet today.
