"Moving averages tell you nothing. " I don't agree but I do enjoy reading your posts. You're quite gifted with the King's English. I invest using moving averages and momentum. I pick strong/awakening sectors and then buy stocks in those sectors, based on moving averages. So far, it's worked well for me. I may be more empiric than you. If it works, it works. I don't argue with it. Like you said, you can take a set of circumstances and twist it into anything you want to represent. Moving averages work well for me. They provide non-emotional trigger points.
