GH, I looked at Wall Data a while ago and can't remember anything about
it. So, no comment on that one other than that I was obviously not
very impressed. Silicon Graphics is a terrific company and I like it
if you have to own a workstation company. For example, I was pushing
a paired trade of buying SGI and shorting the current market leader,
SUNW. However, I think the workstation market is going to have a
tough time, so I wouldn't buy it straight right now. Coherent Comm.
is a great little company, though it is pricey. But if you believe in
digital phones and wireless comm and pcs, echo cancelers are vital.
CCSC simply makes the best echo cancelers. I still own it and have a
full position right now. But I have owned some since it was spun off
from Safeguard Scientific and have a cost on some shares of a buck and
change. So, I may be able to afford more risk vs. tax on this one
than other folks can.
For others, I recommend a 1/3 to 1/2 position, adding more if the stock
