I suppose there are similarities in this method to Andrew's pitchfork. It's a bit more situationally specific though. The main similarity comes in the target projection side of the method which is really too involved to get into here but I can say that target verification comes out of the use of small scale bisections of breakout support using lines from a low to a high. CPU failed its attempt at such a breakout on Friday so it was in no condition to move unless it gapped over the line at the open on Monday.
Combining this method with trend line intersections allowed me to nail IFCI's move to the day last week as well as the 330 point move up on the Dow on Sept 8 and the 1.2 billion share turnaround day on Oct. 7.
