Well that would depend on the market cap. The Pope controls a lot of assets and the church has been very successful finding new investors over the years. History tells us that when dealing with Popes, chances are you are dealing with less than honorable men. Remember back in the Avignon days, the popes behaved much like Rice in that they stole away in the night, leaving Rome for the south of France. On the other hand, John Paul II (Nasdaq: JPII) seems to have pretty good credentials. I'll have to check with Mr. Cleveland on the Vatican security status. As you know, there has been some violence there recently. Also, JPII is getting to be a bit long in the tooth and there is no telling what skills the next CEO will bring to the table. All those smoke signals at the board meetings makes me a bit nervous.
