Saddam being really really bad isn't a good enough reason for America to endanger it's world standing, it's economy, and risk a wider war in the region. Kin Jong Il is every bit as horrible, and has probably killed more of his own citizens- through famine and purges. But it wouldn't be advisable to waltz into N. Korea either.

It isn't "ok" that Saddam is in power, just like it isn't "ok" that the Chinese took Tibet, and drove out or killed the Tibetan people- but just because is isn't "ok" that doesn't mean we, the US, acting pretty much alone, should try to rectify what is not our problem. If you make it our problem, you may just spawn more problems than you had in the first place. Then things may be even less "ok".
