Yes I agree. I think if Clinton would have heavily campaigned for Gore in 2000, we wouldn't be in this mess today. It's funny, not funny really, how a relatively small thing changes the course of history. The old horseshoe nail thing is really true.

I long for the days to see a presidential news conference again, like one of Clintons, when a reporter would ask a question and he would pause and think out a logical, choherent answer before answering.. Not a mangled canned response emanating from shorted out synapses. <g>
