He's an easy target. That's why they attack him.

But he's playing a different game than they are. He's getting voters who want real leadership and is not afraid to say what he thinks. He focuses on three big issues - the border, the economy and national defense - and leaves the little stuff for the little candidates to quibble about.

At this point, the only way he could lose the nomination is if the rest of the candidates combined their support into one candidate. That seems highly unlikely now that the 'hated' Ted Cruz is running second.
