RE- Milk prices I can't see how dairy farmers are making very much money with the low price of milk that Walmart is charging. I think your spot on. DF has to concentrate on products other than the milk line.

There's a very obscure company in dairy equipment. I believe I talked about a long time ago called Paul Mueller- MUEL. Maybe the same works for milk to? The stock has had a nice rebound, but I'm staying away from it for now.

MUEL PR snip> Backlog increased during the third quarter from $80 million to $90 million, which is more than twice the backlog at the beginning of 2017. Among the significant orders in backlog are a series of related pharmaceutical orders, most of which were entered in the first quarter of 2017, and which contributed to revenue beginning in the third quarter of 2017 and expected to continue contributing to revenue through the second quarter of 2018. There is also unusually high backlog for dairy farm products to be delivered in the United States and Canada, which is expected to sustain the current high revenue for this group through, at least, the second quarter of 2018.

P.S. Retailers Are Bottling Their Own Milk, Raising Pressure on Dairy Companies Kroger, Wal-Mart and Albertsons spend millions of dollars on dairy processing plants in effort to expand their foothold in the industry.
