One argument for a potential near term top, per a friend of mine, is the stochastics on the VXN. They are giving levels not seen since August 22nd and prior to that in March. (I cannot get my settings to match with his I also note the VXN has gone through the lower bollinger band. (Still, this 1417-26 area has been tested a ton. At some point it gives way. And VXN reversal or plateau is sure no guarantee of price reversal.) the freep
