Rob,

Thomas Lee has no credibility as far as i'm concerned. What does he mean by half the country? Population or geographic size?

I believe Thomas Lee was the analyst who, in a recent Wall Street Journal article, mis-stated facts about Bell South's new rate plan, and claimed it would take customers from Nextel.

He compared Bell South's $10 a month charge for unlimited phone to phone use to Nextel's flat $40 per month charge for direct connect ONLY. Of course what he failed to mention was the $10 was in ADDITION to regular Bell South's charges, not a fair comparison.

Does he mention in the NY Times article that AT&T rates are only available when you have a certain phone, which costs about $200?

While it's nice to be the acknowledged leader of the pack in sales growth and have competitors scrambling, it would also be nice if he got his facts straight.

Ron
