Yuppers. In the Bennett case, we had the happy ending, as he was not re-elected. But the entire system - and I mean from top to bottom, local to state - is so corrupt that "the people" can't do much. If enough politicians are indicted, they might get the message, or enough new blood might force some changes. But it's not just the elected politicians that are corrupt, it's the public institutions too, which means that case-by-case removal is not going to change the system. And you know, NJ is a wealthy state, and it's much too easy to latch onto the public monies and suck them dry.
