G,
Well i for one am getting bullish again. It is interesting to me that tech does not seem to be perceived as vulnerable to the "enron" phenomena and given where markets have sunk chips in particular have done reasonably well. Markets will go up when bush announces Bin Laden is actually dead. Tyco has a 12noon call and i hope they are not dirty, perhaps just stupid. I remember a company called Penn Square that went down like enron in an earlier recession. CEO there was a crook as well. Disease never spread to other companies and i believe last leg of that bear occurred with rising unemployment and reports of busines corruption. Business is always on the edge in this country. They are within the rules on the margins but stay within those rules. Enron culture probably is a Texas oil/energy thing. No offense Bob Furman but ever since JFK was shot i have this anti-texas thing. I think i was right with lbj and now with enron. I hope bush proves me wrong--i am sure we all do. Mike
