Your quite correct! But from the rank of Waffen SS, the Einsatzgruppen were recruited to do the mass-murder! But on many occasions, for rounding up and mass arrests, the Waffen SS and even the Wermacht units were used! The Bosnian Moslem also were recruited inot various SS units, but were sent home in 1944-45 to help defend their himes agaisnt Partisans! So were the Azerbaijanis, who were recruited from various units of Vlassov Army and put into the Kasminski Brigade. The did the final destruction of Warsaw while the Soviets were waitng beyond Vistula in the Fall of 1944! And the worst were Ukrainian SS! So Skenderbeg SS unit was one of the many!
