WISCONSIN IN THE NEWS? Scott Walker vs. The World

iReport — Social Media is blowing up over Wisconsin Governor's, Scott Walker's declaration to cut collective bargaining rights for public workers.

1000 Appleton East High School students walked out of school yesterday to support their teachers.

40% of the 2,600 Madison School District Employees plan to stage a "sickout" today. Madison schools close.

Wisconsin State Journal reports more than 10,000 protesters appeared before the Capitol steps yesterday. Even more appeared today, sleeping the night in and around the Capitol.

Yet, we've yet to see it in national news. This is happening in our country. To our teachers. Our firemen. Our workers. Not to diminish other important news across the globe, including a very historic Egyptian show-down, but where's the coverage on a very important show-down in our country?

For now, it remains in local news, and social media. Facebook groups, causes and pages like, "Vote No to Walker's Budget Bill," "Walker vs. The World" and "Hands off our Teachers." And so this is for Wisconsin. For everyone who seems to be ignoring you. You're now on CNN.
