As for the highest ranking official -- the President of China. Don't count on it! China has their own special system to select their own president. Up to now, the system works great! the winners have done a much better job in China than those who have been "democratically" elected in the West in their countries. On this issue, no one has to agree with me, but don't preach to me either.
