There was a report out the other day that Microsoft and NBC are reconsidering their alliance. Apparently, Microsoft entered into the arrangement back in 1996 in an attempt to secure content for this MSN site, and at this point they don't see that need any more. I suspect it has something to do with MSNBC's lackluster ratings.
