Joe: Hans was a Frankenberg appointment and not a Noorda man. I looked to him to provide stability, new vision and promote the issues that both Young and Frankenberg and now Meringi offer as far as the ne w Novell! I wonder what battel he might have been fighting?

Noorda and his group is the anchor that Novell needs to get off their back.

Here is the suggestion for a shareholder vote.

Novell buy back Noorda's shares over the next year as a 'special' stock buy back program. We will pay current market prices plus $0.01 per share. See what Noorda thinks of this proposal (we do provide a preminum). This may be possible as I believe he has a special class of stock.

Let's get our laywer working on this approach. Once his shares are acquired, then I believe Mr. Noorda will loose all interest in sitting on 'our' board. Perhaps Noorda's lawyer friend will find the door as well.
