Were you alive when JFK confronted the Soviet Union in Cuba, Mary? I was. And remember it VERY distinctly. We were on the East Coast then, and in direct line of fire, so to speak.

JFK did NOT consult the UN. He dealt with it directly.

JFK would have called himself a Republican today. Go back and look at the actual newspapers of those days. You will see for yourself.

John Kerry is NO JFK.

BTW, I wondered if you really wrote your note this AM. MUCH more ...ummm....antagonistic....than is usual for you.
Nearly sounds like a Kerry soundbite ....
