After watching that analyst meeting, there is little doubt that the dot.com bubble bursting has set Microsoft in motion with lots of momentum.

McNealy (SUNW) is right. It will be MSFT versus everyone else.

I am putting my money on Microsoft.<g>

Factoring in a PC growth rate that is 4 to 5% lower than IDC in their financial forecasts for the year just shows how conservative they are going forward.
Creates a lot of upside potential like in years past.

Also we have to remember that this company does not pay dividends when looking at valuation.

IMHO, MSFT is publically underestimating the potential of Windows XP....but I bet their "internal" models are somewhat more aggressive in revenue/earnings for the year.

I believe the next 2 month period is going to be a huge buying opportunity in this stock if it stays near current levels. Ahead of the actual launch of XP, it should be running up---my guess early October. For a long term investor, it is a bargain right here. IMHO of course.
