Here's a truly unthinkable scenario.

Lucent/Apple announce a deal to do Quantum Computing. Lucent has Bell Labs, and Bell has been working on quantum computing for years. Last I heard (2 years ago) was if it was feasible, first silicon was 10 years away. If somebody has figured out a way to build quantum computing devices, then that is definitely front page news. That will do more to revolutionize computing than anything of the ladt 20 years. Lucent has been doing this research for years, but where does AAPL fit in?
