Give Veterans a say on Kerry Wooten

And an article in the "Star Tribune."
Book about Kerry sure to launch campaign salvos Bob Von Sternberg, Star Tribune August 14, 2004 VETS0814 Some Vietnam veterans are about to throw the book at John Kerry.
The book -- "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry," to be published Sunday -- is the latest round in a fusillade of attacks launched during the past two weeks against the Democratic presidential nominee's Navy service during the Vietnam War.

The "Kansas City Star" passes this along.
"We are putting together the second ad," said Hoffman, 78, of Richmond, Va. As a Navy captain in 1968 and 1969, Hoffman commanded a unit of 1,650 sailors that included Kerry as a lieutenant.

The "Washington Dispatch" has this.
Old Media Blackout on Swift Boat Veterans for Truth The John Kerry ’Christmas in Cambodia’ ever changing story is an investigative reporter’s dream. All the elements are included--a presidential candidate, war, spies, illegal secret missions, a Christmas in Cambodia, an attaché case that includes a lucky hat, sex, lies and videotape.
Allegedly.
And to top it off, John Kerry’s campaign now says he wasn’t in Cambodia on Christmas in 1968, even though he’s on record, the Congressional Record, as not only being there, but having the memory of Christmas in Cambodia 1968 seared--seared in his brain.
And investigations are being done in the blogosphere. But only one reporter, Carl Cameron of FOX News, has stepped up to ask the Kerry campaign exactly what he recalls about Christmas 1968. Cameron has gotten a variety of answers ranging from, “Kerry never said it," to "we’ll get back to you," to the latest, "Kerry was only near Cambodia, and never in it." The last version of the truth (near Cambodia but never in it) was yesterday afternoon. Expect that to change again sometime today.
How do you pass this up if you’re an investigative reporter?
