Glassman lived for years in New Orleans, and published a free tabloid, Figaro, for which I did layout, so technically he was my boss although I was never introduced to him, just saw him around. Then he sold it and moved to Washington and wrote for a magazine which folded. Then he started writing for the Washington Post. In other words, he's a journalist.
