From MSN.com: Something to Ponder - Would Bush Hurt the Economy and 90% of us?

From Moneycentral.com:

"Bush wants to drag marginal tax rates down sharply, to a minimum of 10%, from 15%, and a maximum of 33%, from the current 39.6%. Estimates suggest this would reduce the government’s income over the next 10 years by $1.3 trillion. Gore’s plan ignores taxpayers in the higher brackets and offers selective relief to others, for a substantially lower total.

“One of the things that can happen is you can get too aggressive on tax cuts and force the economy to heat up again, and then the Fed will have to act to raise interest rates,” says Ron Rogé, a financial planner in Bohemia, N.Y. “Gore’s tax cuts seem pretty mild; I don’t think they’re
going to overheat the economy.”
