So just what is so remarkable about Isiah 52 and 53 as prophecy? I count as many misses as hits.

HITS:
Isiah 53:12 "he poured out his soul to death"
Yeah, he was killed.

"he was numbered with the transgressors"
I suppose that's a reference to the two thieves.
'Course, those thieves are a problem because the Romans didn't crucify thieves. Crucifixion was an ignomious, painful death reserved for rebels and traitors.

MISSES:
Isiah 53:7 "he opened not his mouth" - occurrs TWICE.
Didn't Christ say "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me?"

Isiah 53:9 "they made his grave with the wicked"
Wasn't he buried in his own tomb?

Isiah 53:9 "and with a rich man in his death"
How does that fit?
Isiah 53:9 "although he hd done no violence"
If that bit with the moneychamgers wasn't violence, what was it?
