Everyone should remember what happened last Thanksgiving... The MM's went on auto-pilot for the week, and the retail investors went bonkers. Remember ONSL to 110? EGGS to 45? MALL to the 60's? (And then it all crashed the Monday following). Despite sky-high valuations, downgrades, widening losses, and all the rest ... you can't totally dismiss the possibility of a repeat performance. Who's to say the warm and fuzzies won't make people buy emotionally again into the sites their shopping on? I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I can't see shorting into it, either. There's a lot of newbie investors in the picture who weren't around a year ago, and who may be condemned to repeat history.
