Djane,

I hope that Lucent has the ability to take Juniper in a potential bidding war. a while back I said that Juniper and Redstone (purchased yesterday for 600 mil by siemens in another bidding war) would give credence to LU in the IP routing space. This is going to be important going forward since the GRF at Ascend can't really compete with these guys. My guess would be that Juniper does want to go public since they have investments from NT,ERICY,coms and LU. They can partner with all of them and reap the benefits.
