ElM, IBM doesn't have an open-source philosophy. If you ask them for their software code, they'll tell you to take a hike. They might have some open-source code, such as Linux, but that's because it happens to fit with a particular marketing idea in a certain area.

<When capital starts spreading evenly things get really interesting.>

That's what the communists thought too and things got very interesting at lots of grave sites. Of course they didn't really mean capital should be spread evenly, they meant that capital should be controlled by the bosses and their politburo mates, compliant people would be rewarded with some rice, non-compliant people would be sent to the country for re-education through manual labour, or simply murdered, murder being a popular idea among those disposed to spreading capital evenly.

I prefer my capital to not be spread out. I like to keep it in a bank, or financial institution with good security, or in my assets, and I like to keep a close eye on it. The idea of open-sourcing it to Lula and his greedy, lazy, stupid mates isn't my idea of fun. Theft isn't a good way to accumulate capital, but thieves are too stupid to work that out. A few thieves can get away with it, but in most societies, they are hunted down and gaoled [unless they are the government thieves who are authorized by the stupid and thieving electorate to steal taxes from the productive to hand out to their voters].
