Here are some comments from the VP of IS department of Pier 1: "was particularly impressed that TimeFinder's (EMC software) snapshot function supported all three of Pier 1's plateforms." "Emc's off-site hot storage capability is more mature than that of competitors" "Pier 1 could have implemeted the same functionality with Sun or IBM, but less sophisticated cross-plateform functionality wouldhave meant increased personnel costs and a higher total cost of ownership"
