As you may know, Barnes and Noble purchased Ingram Books a leading book wholesaler.

Now, as I stated before, the only reason why Amazon.com would purchase BAMM, or any other book seller, would be for business relationships between the book seller and book wholesaler. Also remember that Amazon.com started out selling books, now they are selling CD's, toys, etc.
