I watched it, too, and was starting to worry he might get testy with the reporters. But he stayed cool and the minute he said, in deadpan style, "Russia, if you're listening..." I started laughing out loud and haven't stopped chuckling all day. It ranks right up there with "Pocahantas" in terms of wit.

So I agree with Hinderaker, and I did watch it to the end. It was long and Trump fielded a variety of questions without weasel wording. To me, the tone changed and the press seemed to become more respectful. They were really listening, gave him time to fully answer without rushing him....or so it seemed. At any rate, Trump was calm and articulate, stayed with the question without digressing too much. Better than I've seen him. He was a commanding presence without seeming hostile, and I thought to myself for the first time 'he might actually win this'.
