And it turns out it's total bunk.

I said at the start that the media process was going to be fascinating. It is surpassing my expectations. You have to wonder, "what in the world is going on in these reporter's minds? Are they all doing the 'Kerry lockstep?'"

These people went through J school with visions of Watergate dancing in their heads. They all want to be the next "Woodward." But they not only are not "on" this "vet eruption," they are not even following up on the now obvious lie about Cambodia.

Are the editors ordering them to leave it alone? Are they all this much out of the loop? I don't think so. All I can think of is "pack journalism" and laziness.
